Join us for the second year of our annual spring charity event, Maine's Strongest Mom, where we will celebrate the strong moms of Maine and raise money for the local charity Maine Needs!

About the Event
Today we will celebrate the strong moms of Maine and search for Maine's Strongest Mom! This fun and friendly competition will be comprised of 4 strength and fitness events, suitable for beginner to advanced athletes!
DEADLIFT- This year's event will be done with a given weight for maximum reps in 30 seconds. There will be 3 weight options for both Open and Novice categories, ranging from 95 lbs to 225 lbs.
SANDBAG CLEAN - In this event, competitors will clean (pick up) a weighted sandbag from the floor to the front rack position (we'll have a video demonstrating this technique available soon) for as many reps as possible in one minute. (We'll have two different weights of sandbags depending upon whether the athlete is in the Open or Novice category. Current plan is a 40# sandbag for NOVICE and a 60# sandbag for OPEN.)
