Scott Baumann (Owner/Founder)
“It's hard to find the words to accurately describe how amazing Scott is. You are not going to find a more passionate, inspiring, or caring person if you try. I am always blown away by his wisdom and generosity. This place that he has created isn't just a gym where you go to strengthen your body, but a place where you nurture and strengthen your soul. I have never stuck to any fitness program in my life, until now that is. I can't get enough of this positive atmosphere and would highly recommend you sit down with this man if you have any doubt in your ability to improve yourself. You will be sold. He is by far one of a kind and you will be so happy you did.”
Jon Janson (Owner/Manager)
“Coach Jon is the perfect combination of hardass and exercise physiology nerd. You will definitely get your ass kicked, but at the same time you will learn something and make a new best friend. He doesn't allow corners to be cut and you will forever be grateful for his honesty. Jon truly has changed my life and I am beyond thankful for all he does each and every day.”
“Coach Andrew overcomes the words ‘I can't’ with the words ‘I know you can’. Age is nothing more than a number in his world. Fierce, compassionate and professional, it is very clear to me that this guy loves his job and gives it 110%. He sees my potential and gets just as excited as I do when I hit a new personal record. Andrew leads by example and is an inspiration to us all.”
“I appreciate that Coach Lizz cares deeply about her client’s well-being, both emotionally and physically and is great at taking the temperature of a client and how they are feeling when they walk into the door. She is intuitive and responds accordingly. She epitomizes tough love. Gentle and kind but so intensely passionate and bad ass, that she constantly impresses me and inspires me."
"I work full time and have a 3 year old with another baby on the way. I've been training with Meg for 3.5 years. I've always tried to be active but never did much strength training. I started doing strength training just before I got pregnant the first time and immediately realized how much of a difference adding strength training made for me. I had a long delivery that would never have gone as well as it did without all the work she helped me put it. Training with Meg also helped me not only with my recovery postpartum but to gain confidence in the way my body feels and what it can do instead of paying attention to what the scale says.”
“I absolutely love my sessions with Trevor. We’ve been working together for a while now and he brings his passion and excitement to every session. He challenges me appropriately and makes training fun. He likes when you tell him that you’re super sore from the previous workout, I can always visualize him snickering about it! He’s got a little bit of an evil side, meaning he knows exactly how much to push you, even when you don’t think you can do it. In all seriousness Trevor is awesome!”
"I fell in love with fitness in 2004 when I joined the Army. After that I took some years off and got married and had children and fitness took a back burner. One day after feeling depressed I stepped into a gym after years of no physical activity. I transformed my life and I was hooked yet again. After some years working on myself, and having others ask for assistance I decided this was a hobby I wanted to turn into a career. My goal as a coach is to help others gain confidence in themselves while falling in love with the gym as I did."
“I wanted to become a coach because I want others to feel good in their bodies and minds. I want people to experience the satisfaction and mastery that comes along with strength training. It truly is an experience that fortifies the body and the brain. I was drawn to training myself because of the mental health gains that can be made (but I’ll never turn down muscle gains 😜). "
"I wanted to become a coach so that I can help provide the guidance that I desired when I started lifting. Preventing people from injuring themselves from poor technique or improper load management is crucial to longevity. What I like about lifting is that it’s just you against yourself, and there is nothing to prove to anyone else."
"I truly believe that a healthy lifestyle is one of the biggest things you have control over in your life and I’m here to help you. As a coach, I would be incredibly thrilled to be part of YOUR journey to becoming the best version of YOU! I’ll be on your team every step of the way, cheering you on!"
"The first time I saw atlas stones on TV as a little kid I knew that was going to be part of my life one day. I believe that strength training is for everyone and that it significantly improves your quality of life. Iron Legion has presented me with the opportunity to share my passion for training with others and I can’t wait to get started!"
